Simple conversion funnel to scale up your business

Now that you have the desire to grow and take your business to the next level, let’s break down a simple conversion funnel. If this concept is unfamiliar to you, simply think of a funnel you might use in the kitchen: it takes in a wide amount of content and pushes it through a process until you get the end result you want. In this case, your funnel starts by getting a wide amount of awareness. You need marketing and a great message, as well as a platform where people are, to create a broad outreach that generates awareness. The more people you reach, the more people will eventually have interest in what you have to say. If you reach 10,000 people and get 10% of them interested in what you have to say to continue listening to you, you’re moving 1000 people through your funnel! 

You can build your funnel by creating your own list of contacts, from friends to family to business colleagues, or by using social media or other digital means to reach an audience who already is interested in what you have to say.

After the awareness stage comes the significant interest stage. This is where people have moved past understanding how your product or service works to meaningfully considering how your product or service could benefit their life. at this stage, they’re looking for details and assurance, and removing doubts, so that they can make the move to completely join what you have to give them. 

Third, the transaction stage. at this point, your prospect or potential customer is not only aware of what you have to give them, but they are carefully evaluating exactly how you will benefit them and give them something they couldn’t give themselves. They is evaluated so much and remove enough doubt that they’re ready to make a transaction and begin to actually experience what you have to offer them.

For each person in your conversion follow, it’s up to you to carefully nurture your potential customer and understand what phase of the conversion funnel they’re living in. You want to be their trusted Advocate and have the ability to ask questions that get them talking and meaningfully answer any and all doubts they have. If they decide to leave the funnel, it should be for a very good reason, and not simply because they didn’t have enough information.

Ultimately, sales is about helping. In your conversion funnel, you want to constantly be asking how you’re helping the person on the other end of the phone or Zoom call. If what you have to offer them could genuinely help them, it’s incumbent on you to nurture the relationship you have with them.
